The Role:
MobReady are actively seeking 2x Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander trainees in Tamworth NSW wanting to complete either a Cert III Business or Cert Work Health & Safety on a Solar Farm.
Admin / WHS Trainee – Key Duties
- Provide general administrative support including filing, data entry, document preparation, and record management.
- Assist with maintaining WHS documentation such as incident reports, safety registers, and training records.
- Help coordinate meetings, training sessions, and toolbox talks, including preparing agendas and materials.
- Support the onboarding process by organising induction paperwork and ensuring WHS requirements are completed.
- Monitor and update internal systems, spreadsheets, and databases to ensure accurate and up‑to‑date information.
- Assist with workplace inspections, hazard reporting, and safety checks under supervision.
- Maintain organised digital and physical filing systems for compliance and audit purposes.
- Communicate with staff and contractors regarding WHS procedures, reminders, and follow‑ups.
- Help track PPE stock levels and support ordering of supplies when required.
- Contribute to creating a safe and compliant workplace by following WHS policies and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide customer service and reception support, including answering calls, responding to enquiries, and directing visitors.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and WHS officers to learn and apply safety practices and administrative processes.
