The Role: 
 
MobReady are actively seeking Mob going into year 11 or 12 in 2027 and wanting to kickstart a career in Banking!

This Banking traineeship will give you the opportunity to learn all things banking, while gaining valuable customer service and administrative skills. Working within the customer service team for one of the leading banks, you will provide friendly customer service to all customers and support with transactions, account enquiries and other tasks as required.
 
How it works:
1 day per week at work (paid)
12 or 24 month traineeship
Complete a certificate II or III in Financial Services or Business alongside your HSC
Get a head start with your career
Receive 1:1 mentoring and support from a dedicated mentor

About you:
Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander
Commencing year 11 or 12 in 2027
Residing in NSW, ACT or QLD

 
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service and communication.
  • Supporting customers with enquiries and transactions.
  • Getting involved in projects, contributing to the improvement of processes and workflows.
  • Maintain and organise records, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
  • Be a catalyst for positive change, bringing fresh ideas and solutions to the table
Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge:
  • No formal experience required but some exposure to customer service & basic computer literacy would be well regarded.
  • The ability to learn, be taught and follow instructions.  Asking questions when uncertain of information and process highly encouraged.
  • Strong organisational skills with an ability to take ownership of tasks. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A proactive mindset and a passion for contributing to positive change
  • Team Player
